Damian Harvey (Author)
Damian Harvey lives in North Wales with his lovely wife, Vicky. He has three wonderful daughters, one brilliant boy and a cat called Polly. He has written more than 130 books for primary school aged children and is busy writing more. When he isn't writing, Damian loves visiting schools, libraries, bookshops, festivals and anywhere that will have him, where he shares stories, talks about writing and gets people excited about books and reading. Denis Cristo (Illustrator)
Denis Cristo is an illustrator and web designer based in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.
Most of his illustrations are digital vector art.
He studied advertising, and worked for many years with an animation studio.
Over the last few years he's been working as a freelance illustrator with the advertising and children's books markets.
Follow Kid Pirate and his crew in this graphic novel adventure as they are marooned on a desert island ....

Each story follows the adventures of the same set of characters in exciting comic book form, perfect for encouraging reluctant readers. The books have been book banded to support children's reading in the classroom. The Kid Pirate books have all been banded at book band 7 Turquoise.
