Born in a sleepy little town in the hills of Pennsylvania, Jill Howarth always knew she wanted to be an artist. She got her first non-paying job making drawings for her mom's 5th grade classroom bulletin boards.
After leaving corporate life to start a family, Jill began freelancing. She lives just west of Boston, with her husband, three teenagers and a crazy, lazy dog! Jill has a passion for hand lettering, illustrating for the children's market and making patterns. As her pinterest will attest, She's inspired by all things mid-century, particularly children's books. She tries to make every job fun with the hopes that her work will put a smile on your face - for Campbell Books, this includes the wonderful Busy Easter and Busy Party.
Like <i>Busy Farm</i> and the other books in this range, this interactive book has lots of additional features over and above the rhymes. The speech bubbles promote further interaction with the adults reading the book with the child and the push, pull and slide features help strengthen young children’s fine motor control.
