Bestselling author Taylor's transformative talent as a world builder shines in her sophomore novel, an epic dark fantasy tale of love, justice, the delicate magic of finding connection, and the complex art of scribing. A magically thrilling, gripping, and thoroughly enjoyable read.

Kirkus Reviews, starred review

A pulse-pounding fantasy. Avalanching peril keeps the pages turning in Taylor's intricately plotted, deliberately crafted tale. Inventive worldbuilding adds dimension, while witty banter and reluctant romance among intersectionally diverse, emotionally complex characters inject levity and depth.

Publishers Weekly, starred review

This dark academia fantasy features masterful worldbuilding, a wildly interesting new magic system, and a lovable cast of characters. This unputdownable adventure is highly recommended for all collections and perfect for fans of V. E. Schwab's "Shades of Magic" series.

- Lyssa Mia Smith, author of 'Revelle',

Unique, whimsical, and utterly spellbinding, The Otherwhere Post kept me captivated until the very last page. Emily J. Taylor is as much a magician with her words as are the characters she writes. A triumphant sophomore novel that asserts Taylor as one of YA's most compelling storytellers.

- Jessica S. Olson, author of 'A Forgery of Roses',

This book was easy to escape into, and I can see people loving it

It was wonderful to escape into such a rich imaginative world and lose oneself in a story so compelling, I genuinely could not put it down. As dizzyingly inventive as the Hotel itself. A real imaginative tour de force

Here, she'll be trained in the art of scriptomancy - the dangerous magic that allows couriers to deliver letters between worlds. But there are some who would prefer the past to stay buried... A dark presence watches Maeve from the shadows, hindering her investigation at every turn. What's more, her infuriatingly handsome mentor knows she's lying about something and time is running out to win him over. It soon becomes clear that to uncover the past, Maeve may have to forfeit her future- or worse, her heart.
