An inspirational collection of stories about how individual people are saving the planet - the ultimate gift for any aspiring young climate activist.

Over seven decades of film-making, David has witnessed the impact of humans on the planet firsthand. In Borneo, he has seen lush rainforests gradually being replaced with oil palm plantations, endangering the orangutans who live there. In South Georgia in Antarctica, David has observed glaciers disappearing. And on his submarine dive on the Great Barrier Reef, he was devastated to see vast areas of white, bleached
coral - caused mostly by warming seas.

For David, whether it's an exotic coral reef or an English woodland, this loss of biodiversity - the rich variety of plant and animal life on our planet - is a tragedy. He also believes it's one of the biggest problems faced by humankind. Aware that humans depend on the natural world for "every breath of air we take, every mouthful of food we take", David knows that our own existence is threatened by the pressure we are putting on nature.
