Liz Miles is an author and library campaigner. Her many publications include fiction and non-fiction for children, with subjects ranging from time travel and prehistory to biographies and the arts. She is passionate about children’s literacy and loves writing books that challenge readers’ expectations, inspire new thinking, and bring facts to life. Many of her publications have been sold around the world. She lives and works in the southwest of England, a stone’s throw from the sea.Big Cat for Little Wandle Fluency has been developed in collaboration with Wandle Learning Trust and Little Sutton Primary School. It consists of a range of chapter books with increasing word counts across 15 fluency levels aimed at children in Years 2-4. Each book builds reading confidence, stamina and speed and nurtures a love for reading.
Fluency 13 books have a word count of 6720 words with an expected reading rate of 140 words per minute.
