This book constitutes the thoroughly refereed post-proceedings of the 5th International Workshop on Graphics Recognition, GREC 2003, held in Barcelona, Spain in July 2003. The 34 revised full papers presented were carefully selected and improved during two rounds of reviewing and revision.
