Craft your own everlasting spring bouquet with press-out paper flowers, step-by-step instructions, and video tutorials in The Bouquet in a Book: Spring.
Welcome to a new adventure in paper floristry! I think spring might be my favourite season, there is something magical about those new beginnings and first sunny days after the quiet pause of winter. The first glimpses of colour in the garden and hedgerow always lift my spirits, and I wanted to create a bouquet that captured that joyful energy.
I have included lots of my favourite spring flowers, from sunny daffodils and dramatic tulips to dainty daisies and vibrant blossom. As always, it was tough narrowing them down (I always want to include everything!) but I hope you love the final mix – I've certainly enjoyed bringing them to life.
Everything you need is included: just press out the pre-punched pieces, grab a few basic tools you likely already have, and you're all set. There are clear step by step instructions, and if you are a visual learner (like me) you'll also find handy video tutorials to guide you.
The techniques are easy to master, and the designs are intentionally forgiving – perfect for beginners – but there are also lots of ways to explore detail and texture if you want to take things further.
The beauty of paper flowers is they don't fade or wilt, which means you can enjoy a burst of spring colour all year round. They make thoughtful gifts – whether you go all out with a full bouquet – or simply wrap a single stem with ribbon and add one of the tags included. The book itself also makes a perfect present – think of it as a craft kit and keepsake in one!
So let's slow down, unwind and welcome spring by creating a gorgeous bouquet, one petal at a time.
